Nathan Lucht

President and Chief Executive Officer
Nate brings enthusiasm and energy to the Instep Health team while driving the strategy and direction of the organization. Nate’s wealth of experience in the consulting, data and analytics services, and CPG industries provides key insights into the process of leveraging data and analytics into growth opportunities within the healthcare sector. His career includes management and executive leadership positions with General Mills, Boston Consulting Group and IRI. Nate holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.

Jim O'Dea

Chairman
As the former CEO of Rx EDGE, now InStep Health, Jim O’Dea saw beyond the traditional media options for pharmaceutical companies and revolutionized the direct-to-consumer channel for medical marketing. Jim championed the role of retail pharmacy and created an opportunity for pharma brands to speak directly to consumers when they were actively making decisions about their health – in the pharmacy aisle. Jim’s path to pharmaceutical marketing services started in CPG, with executive leadership positions at Procter & Gamble, Nestle, Nabisco, and the in-store merchandising company News America. Jim is a graduate of Gettysburg College and completed the Executive Management program at Cornell University.

Michael Byrnes

Chief Client Officer
Mike knows InStep Health inside and out and partners with clients to create measurable and effective patient acquisition and adherence marketing programs. Mike understands client goals and positions them for success within InStep Health programs. Prior to joining Rx EDGE, Mike held pharmaceutical sales and management positions with Weider Publications and Capital Publishing based in New York City and was Senior Director of Pharmaceutical Sales at Third Age Media in San Francisco. A graduate of The University of Dayton, Mike received his B.A. in Communication Management and completed executive training at the Wharton School of Business.

Dan Wilmer

Executive Vice President & Chief Product Officer
Dan is a digital strategist and innovator with a history of building large-scale consumer health businesses. As Executive Vice President & Chief Product Officer, he leads product development for InStep Health’s digital, pharmacy, and selected HCP offerings and oversees the company’s networks and analytics functions. Among his past experiences, he managed the U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals franchise, directing product development, traffic acquisition and strategy. Prior to that, Dan oversaw a portfolio of wellness sites for Everyday Health that included national personalities Jillian Michaels, Denise Austin, Joy Bauer, and Dr. Andrew Weil. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Fairfield University.

Carrie Heisen

Executive Vice President of Operations
Clients can rest assured that their InStep Health programs will be implemented flawlessly thanks to Carrie. Her responsibilities include production, delivery, and supervision of pharmacy merchandising services. Carrie also leads digital program implementation, as well as process development and automation. She also manages the proprietary system that supports InStep Health’s highly complex fulfillment process. Carrie was previously in Category Management with Walgreens, which gave her considerable insight into the retail sector. She received a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from California State University, Fullerton.

Rob Blazek, RPh

Senior Vice President, Networks and Analytics
Rob is devoted to developing and cultivating relationships among the multiple retail pharmacies within the InStep Health network. As a registered pharmacist, he has a unique perspective that allows him to consistently find innovative ways to deliver value to clients by leveraging the targeting platform and measurement services InStep Health offers. Prior to joining InStep Health, Rob worked for CVS, where he oversaw the implementation and analysis of direct-to-patient programs, in-store advertising, and other large database driven initiatives. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Purdue University.

Mark Goethals

Senior Vice President of Marketing
Mark leads the evolution of InStep Health into a future as both industry media partner and consumer brand in his role as Vice President of Marketing. He guides all thought leadership and corporate marketing from New York City, where he has worked in agency, and brand roles focused equally on driving innovative engagement and revenue. He leads marketing through a sales lens and works from an omnichannel mindset spanning fully digital and conventional printed media. Throughout his career, Mark has fully plugged into the East Coast’s aggressive innovation in healthcare, lifestyle, and media development. He previously developed the brand identity for a hypergrowth digital healthcare startup, led the development of an interactive and personalized Virtual Waiting Room and Exam Room experience, and guided the brand transformation of ContextMedia into Outcome Health after its acquisition. Mark holds a degree in Marketing and Media Design from Michigan’s Oakland University.
